KBNO 98.3 FM Serving the Columbia Gorge

KBNO 89.3 FM (K-Bueno!) is a non-denominational, non-commercial, Class-A radio station that has been broadcasting local, live and pre-recorded programming for Hispanic families since 1999. Its 24-hour signal reaches approximately 7,000 Hispanic listeners living in the Hood River Valley, parts of The Dalles, and parts of Washington State— as far west as Carson and as far east as Lyle. The station is owned by KBNO’s board of directors and is operated by volunteers and paid staff.

KBNO broadcasts the message of Christ’s love to
the Hispanic community of the Mid-Columbia
River Gorge. As a portal of faith, our ministry
changes lives by communicating hope, life and
encouragement to adults and children alike. By
equipping, inspiring, aiding and educating, our
programming promotes strong marriages, family
values, good parenting, healthy lifestyles, and
financial responsibility. It encourages respect, good
habits, choices and decisions, and presents positive
ways to deal with anger and depression, and to
prevent abuse

To assist in informing and educating the total
Hispanic community in how to live within the
social, economic, cultural and moral context
of America, and specifically, the greater Mid-
Columbia community.
To provide a healthy
source of national and
local news specific to the
Hispanic community.
To become an educational
source for the prevention
of drug, alcohol and
domestic abuse.
To be a fountain of truth
and clean entertainment
for Latinos living in the
greater Mid-Columbia
community and beyond.
To communicate the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to the end purpose that
people will be transformed and become an active,
vital part of the Body of Christ.
